What I've Been Up To Recently

28 March 2019

Hi! How are you?

This is my second time blogging this month, crazy but also an accurate representation of how March has been for me and blogging has had to take a back seat (sadly!). So glad to be back at my desk writing away for you all.
I thought as I have been quite MIA recently, today's post would be a bit like a catch up on what I've been up to.

I wasn't active on socials early march as I was ill with a cough and a cold which is not like me at all!

However on Wednesday 13th March (I wasn't that ill at this point, thank god!), me and my sister went to see Here Come The Girls starring strictly professionals Dianne Buswell, Amy Dowden and former strictly professional, Chloe Hewitt. The whole experience was incredible, it really was a beautiful show. It felt so surreal to see them all dance in real life especially as we were so close to the stage.
We were so inspired by their stories of how they have got to be where they are now. And of course me and Bronwen were up dancing to 'You can stop the beat' at the end, even now the song is still in my head haha.

I was off school on the Friday and I planned to get all my school work done but I had zero energy so that meant that the next week was a little bit manic, trying to get all my photography work done for a deadline at the end of the week. Despite the stress it caused me, I'm actually so happy with how everything turned out and I'm planning the final piece for my mock at the moment. As it was highly requested, a blog post will be out soon with all my tips and thoughts on photography GCSE including photos of my sketchbook.

Last Sunday was my other sister Megan's 21st birthday and we went to visit her up in Windsor as she couldn't come home due to uni work. We had the best time celebrating together, including a delicious lunch at Bills, and now I can't wait until she is back home for Easter tomorrow! Hi Megan, I know you'll be reading this! *insert wave*

I've got so many things coming up in the next couple of weeks some to do with school like mock interviews (need. to. prepare.) and the Easter holidays which I am so excited for! Also, blog wise, keep your eyes peeled.

So I suppose that's it for my little catch up post, I hope I've remembered everything! I really just wanted to say that I'm back, feeling refreshed and yay for now not having so much school work. Now saying that more is probably going to hit me in the face next week, oops!

Have a lovely weekend!
