New In My Wardrobe: SS18

24 May 2018

Hey everyone!

It's been so long since I've sat down and typed but it feels so good to be back. I'm feeling pretty gutted for this to be my second post in May as it's one of my favourite months so I'm just going to try and get more posts out than usual next week as it is half term!

We are finally getting some warm weather so that means (in my eyes!) it's time to change up a few bits in your wardrobe and replace with some fresh, new items for Summer. And that is exactly what I did! *waves bye to all money in bank account*

Here are some of my favourite pieces that I have bought in the past few weeks:

Jumpsuit dress with cutwork detail- Zara

I got this dress to wear for my sister's birthday last weekend and I had been eyeing it up for ages but in white. I thought it would look so pretty with some brown sandals and a cool basket bag but it actually just looked like I was going to bed in a nightie! I think it was because I'm quite pale and it would look so lovely on someone else, just not me. I knew they had the mustard colour still in stock so we ordered that as I love mustard A LOT and it did not fail. I know I'm going to wear this loads! The broderie anglaise is so beautiful and it is lovely to spin around in, safely, (as seen in photos haha!) with the built in shorts.

Black and white faux leather look espadrilles- Primark

I first saw these in a Primark haul and I just knew I had to pick them up because 1- the price at only £6 and 2- whenever you see something so un-Primark you just have to get them! These look so cool and are very Chanel esque which you can tell is what Primark were going for. Nevertheless, I love them and especially for the price, you can't go wrong!

Be mine slogan tee- H&M

Do I even really need to explain why I bought this? Any tee with a slogan on it is a no brainer for me, I just have to buy it! I love pink and red together especially with denim which is how I styled it in this photo but I'm also wearing it whilst I'm typing this with some black and white wide leg trousers.

Gingham bow sliders- Primark

You might be able to see a tiny bit of them in the photos above but these have been what I've been wearing for most of the week! I'm obsessed with anything gingham and the only thing I think I didn't have in that pattern was shoes! Again, these were £6 too (what a bargain!) and I can imagine many outfits that these will look so cool with.

I'm loving so much in the shops right now especially Zara so this definitely won't be the end of my summer shopping.
Thank you to my sister for taking these photos of me and FYI, the app that makes my photos look like this is Hugi for any of you wondering!
